Crunchy Breaded Chicken with a Yogurt Twist

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain La Yogurt Probiotic
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • A bit of fresh parsley
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 package of boneless chicken breasts
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 stick of butter (a pad for each piece of chicken)

    Pour the La Yogurt Probiotic into a mixing bowl

    Mince 2 cloves of garlic – don’t forget to stop and enjoy that savory scent – and then add it to the yogurt along with the chopped parsley

    Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir it all up

    Rinse and salt the chicken

    Create a breading station by lining up the yogurt mixture, the breadcrumbs, and the (buttered) baking dish in a row

    Dip the chicken in the yogurt mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs, then place in the baking dish

    Top each piece of chicken with a pad of butter to help keep the breadcrumbs from drying out

    Cover it in foil and bake at 350 degrees for at least an hour, maybe longer, until it’s golden and crispy
