Fluffy Yogurty Biscuits

Yogurty Biscuits
25 minutes 12 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour and 1/4 cup extra on the side
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup Plain La Yogurt Probiotic
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
Make a basket full of these for your next family dinner!

Directions

  • 1
Get your oven warmed up to 450 degrees
  • 2
Grab an 8 or 9-inch circular cake pan
  • 3
In a big bowl, wisk the salt and 2 cups of flour (save the rest!)
  • 4
Make a dent in the middle of the flour/salt mixture and pour 2/3 cup of your creamy yogurt (save the rest of this too!) into the dent
  • 5
Gently fold in the flour until it’s all combined and you have a sticky dough
  • 6
Get ready to roll! Dust your counter surface with flour, place the dough on the flour, and roll to 3/4 inch thickness – sprinkle flour as you need to help with stickiness!
  • 7
Use a 2-inch cookie cutter to cut circles out of the dough – dip it in flour if you need to!
  • 8
Place the biscuits in the pan and bake for 10-12 minutes, rotating halfway through, until they’re golden brown
  • 9
Once they’re out, brush the tops with melted butter, serve warm, and enjoy!
