Savory Yogurt Waffles

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups plain La Yogurt Probiotic

    Grab a large bowl and whisk together the dry ingredients – flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and baking soda
  • 2
    In a different bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, butter, eggs, and yogurt until it’s nice and creamy
  • 3
    Slowly add the wet mixture into the dry mixture and combine them into a batter – then give it a couple of minutes to sit at room temperature

    Get your waffle iron nice and toasty, based on the instructions it came with
  • 5
    Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook for about 3 minutes, or until it’s brown and crispy
  • 6
    Carefully remove the waffle when it’s done, and continue with more batter
  • 7
    Top with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, or whatever you like!
